ABOUT THE ARTIST

BIOGRAPHY

As far back as she can remember, Jennifer has connected with nature. Spending time outside, enjoying the many places that she has lived, has contributed to her personal collection of geographically inspired memories. Growing up in Saskatchewan, moving to the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, living in both the Colorado Rockies and the Purcell Mountains of eastern British Columbia has provided her with an abundance of time spent in exceptional natural surroundings.

Jennifer began to paint when living in Colorado and has continued to evolve her style to this day. Living on the shores of Ontario’s Georgian Bay, Thornbury in the winter and Pointe au Baril in the summer, have inspired her further. Line, shape and colour are the major components in her paintings. Creating simpler forms out of what she sees, joyous riots of colour reach across her canvases. She expresses her creative energy through the Canadian landscapes she feels so fortunate to have experienced.

Jennifer is represented by galleries across Ontario and Alberta and her paintings are in personal and corporate collections throughout North America, Europe and Australia.
